(WASHINGTON, D.C.) March 1, 2005 - Online Video Service (OVS) has been awarded a second year contract renewal by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to continue supplying the Agency with professional webcasting solutions.
"We are proud of our continued relationship with the NRC, a leader in public affairs programming and now streaming" said Tim Treanor, CEO and President of OVS. "This is clearly a win-win situation for the public, to be able to see each commission hearing live, and for the agency because they are working with a proven leader in the streaming industry.
In 2004, Online Video Service was awarded one of the first multi-year webcasting contracts to be given by the Federal Government. The NRC's primary mission is to protect the public health and safety, and the environment from the effects of radiation from nuclear reactors, materials, and waste facilities.
