Seattle – Online Video Service, Inc. (OVS), the recognized U.S. leader in Internet broadcasting for public affairs, today announced the opening of its European offices in Amsterdam. This expansion marks the company’s first formal presence in Europe, and is intended to increase OVS’ client base and broaden the reach of its services.

“We are very excited to establish offices in Europe at this time,” remarked OVS Chairman and CEO Tim Treanor. “The market opportunity is tremendous for public affairs webcasting. With high broadband adoption and few competitors in our niche, we are eager to build upon our track record with existing European clients.”

OVS’ new offices are located at a hub of international technology activity in Europe, just outside of Amsterdam in the city of Amstelveen. They are led by the company’s President and Chief Marketing Officer, Matt Eldridge.

“Matt is uniquely suited to head up our expansion in Europe,” noted Treanor. “His stature in the company and ability to market in cross-cultural environments will drive sales and strengthen our market position.” Eldridge’s international experience includes roles in locations such as Germany, the Czech Republic and South Africa.

Our client list is well known around the world and gives us strong credibility.” OVS’ customers include such prominent organizations as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

OVS’ European offices will work closely with its headquarters in Seattle, Washington, which houses the company’s Broadcast Operations Center and employs its core technical staff.
